The southwest region of the IMLS-funded Regional Training of Trainers project addresses audiovisual needs of the museums, archives, libraries and cultural centers in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the project will develop and deliver remote training to the region culminating in a hands-on workshop in El Paso, TX by November 2021. The objectives for the regional training include the conversion of the Training of Trainers curriculum to a remote training model, translation of training materials to Spanish, and the development and distribution of “training kits.”
